What do you do next?

You blame the horse, you blame the jockey, you blame the trainer, you blame the bookie, in fact, it’s everything else except poor judgement on your part because, you studied the form in the paper, and they had tipped it in the paper, so, it’s their fault.

But, best of all (and this one does make me laugh), “I knew it, I knew it, I knew that would happen, I told you that would happen” when your selection fades away or falls, as you turn to the chap next to you, and nine times out of ten he’s nodding in agreement.

The list is endless...If you recognise and agree with the above, do not despair, it happened to me for years, it has happened to all of us, and it will keep happening to most punters every day.

 

You lose confidence, you also lose conviction in your bets.
