Do Not Ignore All Weather Racing.

30/7/2015

Now then, as you all know, All Weather Racing is where it is at for me, especially lower class races (yes, I know it's not the season but bear with me).

Do not ignore All Weather Racing when it comes around

A jockey you are all hearing about all over the place at the moment, and rightly so, who this year is riding like a future champion in the making.

Step forward Harry Bentley, he has had 128 rides this year with 27 wins.

Thats a 21.09% win strike rate (impressive)

108 points clear profit to level stakes (brilliant).

Riding on the turf it's 103 rides and 20 wins.

That's a 19% win strike rate and a 37.4 points clear profit from level stakes.

Happy days all round then, so tell me something I don't know I hear you say.

For those of you that dismiss All Weather Racing, this is what you have missed.

"Look what you could have won" as someone used to say.

Rides on A/W this year is 25 (obviously fewer) with 7 wins and a 28% win strike rate.

That's a 71 points clear profit from level stakes.

Rides in class 5 and 6 is..20 rides and still the 7 winners so a 35% win strike rate.

And that's a 76 points clear profit from level stakes.

By the way, E/W bets would be 89.48 points profit  and a 45% strike rate.

I would advise you to look at Lingfield if you want to dig deeper,

Not much data but it does show what you can find looking in areas the masses dismiss.

Certain trainers Harry rides for, or any jockey/trainer combo, tracks and distances can narrow things down for you, Handicaps or Non Handicaps.

Well, like I said earlier, don't ignore A/W Racing, and I hope you have taken some Starting Points and ideas from the above. Build your armoury up now for when the A/W arrives.

As usual, your comments are always welcome.

Happy Betting
